>> EVENT DESCRIPTION
Dentists around the world rejoice for the Acropolis rally in Greece! It is without a doubt the most bone-jarring, tooth loosing experience the drivers have to endure on the World Rally Calender. The cars and crews take and absolute pounding through the stages in hot dry dusty conditions that are almost unbearable. The cars are built to almost safari spec and every part of the suspension and bodies have been strengthened. The terra firma is littered with huge rocks that have sharp edges that will puncture a tyre in a second. This is where the tyre manufactures pray that their run flat mouse systems don’t fail, it could mean the beginning of the end for the unlucky crew. The stages are quite fast and demanding, and the country goes into party mode every time the rally comes to town. |
